He is the father of four children along with his wife, Sarah. Dr. Michael Baker joined the Smile Dental team, he brings with him fresh new set of skills and knowledge to help serve you!

He is the father of one along with his wife, Alyson. Outside the office, Dr. Baker loves spending time with his family, working on his latest car project.

Dr.Baker is phenomenal! He is kind, professional and his work is high quality. All of the staff at Smile Dental goes above and beyond. I got cosmetic porcelain veneers done on my four front teeth. The staff at Smile Dental are always super friendly. I don’t feel pressured to do any procedures, which was a problem I had at another dentist office in Springfield. I highly recommend, if you want a calm atmosphere, to choose Smile Dental!

After a visit with my dentist earlier in the month I was told they couldn't get me in until next month for a root canal. This wouldn't normally be an issue but I would be dead by then due to the insane, INSANE, amount of pain I was in. I charged my nurse with the duty of calling all dentists who took our insurance and whoever could get me in, book them. Lucky lucky them, Smile had an availability. I've never had a dentist or their staff display such empathy and compassion for my situation. Now, for the root canal, he couldn't get me in until 2 weeks out but he called Every. Single. Dentist. he had in his network to see who could take me. No, he didn't give me a list, HE called, his staff called. Before I left the office, I had an appointment with an endodontist, who was cheaper and better than my general dentist. I didn't look good, I'm sure I didn't smell good, because all I could do for a week was SURVIVE but they treated me so well. Having a compassionate HCP is crucial to good overall health and I'd say the staff here hit the nail right on the head. If they are taking PTs I'm going to switch. Thank you guys, all of you, so much. You all deserve puppies.

Smile Dental's staff and Drs. are great to work with. Very personable. So thankful to have such a great clinic for our family to go to. Dr. Baker did such a great job. My wife was needing a chip repaired and he did it in the same visit as the cleaning and was very kind with his pricing. Thank you so very much Dr. Baker and your team at Smile Dental!

Dr.Baker, where to start! He is absolutely I mean absolutely the VERY BEST!!! He truly cares for his patients and listen to their concerns! I’ve had a bad experience with the dentist when I was younger and since then I have been terrified of going back and letting them do work on my mouth. I knew I had to be a big girl Face my fears and get the work done that needed to be done. I am so glad I chose Dr.Baker to be my dentist, he treated me with respect, kindness, and much more! And to tell you the truth I never once felt anything, I was so scared I would feel the shots but the way he did it I never felt a thing. He knew I was scared and talked to me throughout the whole thing and let me know he was still there. Dr.Baker if you see this YOU ARE THE VERY VERY BEST and I can’t thank you enough. I have bragged about you to everyone!!!!
